How to make a PVC Johnboat


Materials Used:
  • 3/4th Inch PVC piping about 130 feet of it. (10 ft segments)
  • 10 90Degree Angles Connectors
  • Just under 50 T connectors (I think 48?)
  • 6 + connectors
  • 3 45Degree Angle Connectors
  • PVC primer and cement
  • 200 Feet of rope (we used aprox. 170 feet of it)
  • Styrofoam Insulation found with the insulation in your hardware store (there are blue and pink ones)
  • 3/8' sheet of plywood
  • 12x16 foot Tarp HEAVY DUTY

How to make a PVC kayak


You will need:
  • {10} PVC pipes (1/2in) each 10ft long from Home depot,
  • {28} 45 degree elbows, {2} rolls of duct tape,
  • {1} 11' by 15' tarp,
  • {4} tarp clamps for a total price of $60 at Home depot.

How to make a PVC Shopping Cart


You will need:
  • Measurements: 24" round; 39" length; 36" height
  • 1-1/4" White PVC-UV Protected and Shatter Resistant Commercial Grade Pipe

Laptop Stand From PVC Pipes

The materials used is ordinary water PVC pipes. total cost did not exceed $5.00.


You will need:
  • 6 pcs. 1/2 PVC elbow.
  • 2 pcs. 1/2 by 2.5 inches PVC pipe.
  • 3 pcs. 1/2 by 7 Inches PVC pipe.
You may adjust the PVC length according to your preferred sizes. To cover the elbow holes, you may glue a plastic washer over it.

Make your own PVC laptop stand

A laptop stand with cable routing for under $5 bucks. No gluing necessary. Save deskspace. Save your neck. Save your eyes.


You wll Need:
  • Six 5 1/2 " by 3/4" pieces
  • Two 11" by 3/4" pieces (for a powerbook, for a dell 14 inch make these two pieces 7" to 8")
  • Four Tee Joints
  • Four Elbow Joints

PVC laptop stand

This could be used to stow a laptop beside a desk or on a shelf.


It's made of 3/4-inch PVC pipe. The parts are:
  • 8 pieces 7 1/2 inches long;
  • 6 pieces 2 1/2 inches long;
  • 4 elbows;
  • 8 tees.
Do the cutting carefully with a miter. Assemble carefully, using a flat table top to help with alignment, and use less than the normal amount of cement so you'll have plenty of working time. (It doesn't have to hold water.)
